“Welcome to my view of the universe.  Well, maybe just my view of a small part of the universe.   In my view, I see interesting landscapes. Everyday I see things I want to paint.  Some views call to me because they pose a challenge to capture, a sort of problem solving.  Others appeal to me because the subject matter or components are either compelling or personal.  My paintings often contain people and always involve a goodly amount of color.   There is almost always strong sunlight in my paintings because I love the effect of light on people and architecture in the landscape.”
